Bring! Treats for Dogs was created as a specialty gourmet dog treat company that focuses on using human grade, organic, local (where possible), and gluten free ingredients to make beautiful treats (that you might want to eat, too)! All of the recipes are my own creation and have gone through a lot of trial and error to create the best, tastiest treats.

There are few things I love as much as I love dogs. They are kind, wonderful, and enrich our lives with unlimited, unconditional love. The pandemic changed my perspective on life and my career. I decided after 17 years working in the wine industry that it was time for a life change. I thought a lot about what would be the most rewarding path and realized there would be nothing better than to utilize my creative and cooking skills to do what I love best, make dogs happy!

I have an incredible dog named Moxie, who has been diagnosed with chronic gastric issues and has a very sensitive stomach. So many treats in the market use questionable ingredients that I won’t feed her, and others use ingredients that could cause upset to sensitive systems. She’s INCREDIBLY picky about food and treats. I decided that instead of buying treats from the store, I would make treats for her that were healthy AND tasty, even to her refined palate.

Each of our recipes were created with so much love behind them! With Moxie by my side we started researching ingredients and canine digestion. We decided no meat as so many different meat proteins cause allergy issues in dogs. She reslly wouldn’ have anything to do with my first few recipes! We finally figured it out, though, and our signature recipe was born! We have expanded our collection of treat recipes, but always with Moxie by my side helping (and nibbling) me make each recipe perfect.

All of our treats are made from scratch and baked fresh at our food truck located at 431 SW Harvey Milk Street in Portland, Oregon. We are open Monday through Sat 12 to 7pm, and Sunday 12-5. Come see us for freshly baked Gourmet Dog Treats, sometimes we have samples still warm from the oven!
